property Atom.g_factor: float#

g-factor of an atom, relates its Atom.spin with its Atom.magmom.magmom

Added in version 0.2.0.

where \(\mu_B\) is a Bohr magneton and S is Atom.spin or Atom.spin_vector if the latter is defined.

g-factor is equal to \(2\) by default. We use \(\mu_B = 1\) internally, so the units are left for the user, i.e. in order to have value with units - multiply by the value of \(\mu_B\) in the desired system of units.
